Smoking is injurious to Health!!!

Thousands of people around the world New Year resolution is to quit smoking. Despite of that there is striking increase in number of smokers as per WHO reports. Which intimates that most of them fails to quit smoking. Yes, it’s very straightforward that Smoking is addictive. Nicotine is a drug that is naturally present in the tobacco plant and is primarily responsible for a person’s addiction to tobacco products, including cigarettes. But most of us choose to smoke than not. Each of us should think of the future. Every puff on a cigarette is another tick closer to a time bomb of terrible consequences.

The true face of smoking is disease, death and horror – not the glamour and sophistication the pushers in the tobacco industry try to portray. Smoking is hateful to the nose, harmful to the brain and dangerous to lungs. Smoking is not a joke. But the fact that people are making BILLIONS of rupees by selling that slowly and killing them. Everyone should understand this thing we are not smoking a cigarette, the cigarette is really smoking you.

A Glance of Death!!!

Everyone knows it’s dangerous to smoke. But many don’t care about sideeffects.Smoking causes cardiovascular disease, lung cancer, throat cancer, mouth cancer, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), blood pressure, fertility problem. Smoking worsens asthma and counteracts asthma medication. Smoking stains your teeth and gums. Smoking causes an acid taste in the mouth and contributes to the development of ulcers. Smoking also affects your looks: smokers have paler skin and more wrinkles. This is because smoking reduces the blood supply to the skin and lowers levels of vitamin A.
Break the chain!!!
Learning from others experience is better than let everything happening to us. See others who are regretting for not stopping smoking in the starting. So, if you don’t have smoking habit it’s preferred not to start it. If you have a habit already realize reality when you have a chance and quit smoking. It Hard to do but necessary. It’s like stop today or try quitting tomorrow.

If you are one of the many millions that want to quit smoking, a specific focus on personalizing your treatment to suit your personal needs throughout the quitting process is advised. This should preferably include the combination of one-on-one or group behavioral therapy and pharmacotherapy to raise your chances of quitting. If pharmacotherapy is not an option, stick with behavioral therapy.

And don’t forget integrating healthy, stress-reducing lifestyle changes into your day, like mindfulness and exercise sessions, and making use of engaging web-based tools for a smoother journey towards long-term smoke free living. However, it’s important to bear in mind that a recent cohort study concluded that use of nicotine replacement therapy bought over the counter, like patches and gum, lowered odds of abstinence by more than 20% when compared with no help at all.

You’re always better off if you quit smoking; it’s never too late.
